Amy Gardner Day is a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana with a B.A. in English and Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Upon graduation and admission to the State Bar of Louisiana, Amy clerked for the Honorable Jeanette Garrett and the Honorable Scott Crichton at the First Judicial District Court for Caddo Parish. She was a staff attorney for the Second Circuit Court of Appeals for 7 years, where she assisted with civil and criminal appellate work. She now maintains a practice in the state and federal courts of Louisiana, focusing on criminal defense, post-conviction relief and criminal appeals, personal injury, and family law. Amy is an active member of the Shreveport Bar Association, the American Inns of Court, the Krewe of Justinian, the Riverbend Rotary Club, and Zeta Tau Alpha.
